St. Paul’s Child Care currently employs wonderful caregivers that take care of the children of our Church members and other families in our community on a daily basis. Their job is so much more than watching our children; they are responsible for developing the minds of the children and preparing them for school.
Some of these tasks are difficult and others are more fun. For instance, teaching the importance of sharing and kindness to all, further developing their understanding of right and wrong, as well as educational aspects (learning their ABC’s, how to write their name, etc.), how to play well with others, and most importantly, sharing the word of the Lord so that they will grow in faith.
As a congregation, we should celebrate the work that the Child Care Center team does on a daily basis to provide an environment that is child friendly, Christ-centered, safe and clean. What is more important than nurturing the very thing that is most important to us all?
