Pastor Evandro Kopper is originally from Southern Brazil. He received his Theology Masters of Divinity at Concordia Seminary, Sao Leopoldo, RS – Brazil in 1996 and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Pastor Kopper served as a missionary in Brazil for 5 years, then moved to Memphis, TN where he worked as a church planter. During his 11 years in Memphis he was successful in planting a church within the Hispanic community on behalf of the Mid-South District of the Missouri Synod. He has also served as a Hospital Chaplain, Youth Minister, and Professor/University Chaplain.
In 2014, Pastor Kopper was united in marriage to Paula de Oliveira and in 2015 their union was blessed with a daughter, Melina de Oliveira Kopper. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing the guitar and getting to know people in the California community.
