Sara (Turner) Hays

Sara is currently serving as both Church Secretary and Church Treasurer. Born and raised in California, she graduated as Valedictorian from California High School in 2006, and obtained her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Columbia College in 2010, majoring in Accounting. Before beginning her service to St. Paul’s she spent 6 years as Assistant Controller of Hawthorn Bank.

In July 2017 Sara began working at St. Paul’s full-time and reportedly loves every minute of it. In her words, “My time has purpose here, not for just me but for the members of our congregation. I feel as though I am part of something much greater and that makes my heart content.”

Sara has two amazing little boys, Landon and Lawson, that are the loves of her life. Working at St. Paul’s has provided her the opportunity to be more available to her children and get them, as well as herself, more involved in the church she grew up in. In her free time she spends every second she can playing with her sons and doing activities with them. Some of their favorite activities are camping, fishing, swimming, playing games, riding bikes and being silly!
