• ...where two or three gather in My name, there am I with them
  • ...but the word of the Lord endures forever
  • ...if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed
Welcome to St. Paul's Lutheran Church
"We, the members of St. Paul's Lutheran, saints through Jesus Christ, give glory to God for His free gift of salvation and personally reach out to the community and the world with this good news."

Announcements

Welcome to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church!
We believe that the door to salvation is always open. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Radio Broadcasts:
Please contact the church office if you would like to sponsor a radio broadcast of our Sunday morning worship service which can be heard on KRLL-1420 AM. The cost is $130.00 per broadcast. Dates available are:
December 31

Deadline
The deadline for submitting items for the January EPISTLE is Friday, December 22, 2017

Our Cups Overflow
St. Paul’s Evening Guild is hosting a fundraising silent auction. Members have created mugs overflowing with goodies! These mugs would make great gifts just in time for Christmas giving. Mugs will be displayed in the Narthex and bidding will take place through December 17.

2018 Calendars
The Youth Group is selling calendars again this year for $7.00 each. If you would like to purchase a calendar, they are on the table in the church Narthex. Please make checks payable to St. Paul’s LYO and leave your check in the office.

Security Measures
Please remember that the front entrance will remain accessible before, during and after worship service but all other doors (basement & side doors) will be locked 10 minutes after services begin. Our church is committed to making sure everyone arrives and leaves our services safely and these measures have been taken to provide a safe and secure place for our congregation to worship.

2018 March For Life
This coming January, a group of 19 from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will join with attendees from Trinity in Jefferson City and St. John’s in Stringtown, as well as others from the area, to board a charter bus and begin a pilgrimage through 7 states before finally joining with the Lutherans for Life, the LCMS and hundreds of thousands of Pro-Life people who come from all over to gather in Washington D.C. for the 2018 March For Life.

When in Washington D.C.,  they will visit with lawmakers and march from the National Mall, up Constitution Street to the Supreme Court. They plan to spend the long bus ride and time in our nation’s capital to reflect and pray not only that abortion will one day come to an end but that it will become unthinkable. They will pray for all those impacted by abortion – praying they will find comfort in the unconditional love and forgiveness that can only be found in our Lord and Savior. The 2018 Mark for Life theme is “ Love Saves Lives” – how fitting!

The following people are attending from St. Paul’s:
Susan Bledsoe
Miley Brauner
Felisa Brown
Megan Chappell
Caydee Cooper
Jennifer George
Ashley Granich
Chris Jungmeyer
Joyce Kaiser
Joy Kiesling
Paula Kopper
Debra Lake
Jack Lake, Jr.
Jack Lake III
David Ott
Diane Ott
Elaine Ott
Kelsey Ott
Sarah Ramer

Let’s keep this group in our thoughts and prayers. They are welcoming your free will giving, which will be used toward transportation costs for the trip to Washington D.C. Checks can be made payable to Missouri Capital Area Lutherans for Life and can be given to Elaine Ott. They would like to thank  you in advance for all who so generously support them as they represent St. Paul’s as witnesses and advocates for Life.
