Announcements

Welcome to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church!
We believe that the door to salvation is always open. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Security Measures
Please remember that the front entrance will remain accessible before, during and after worship service but all other doors (basement & side doors) will be locked 10 minutes after services begin. Our church is committed to making sure everyone arrives and leaves our services safely and these measures have been taken to provide a safe and secure place for our congregation to worship.

Reformation Sunday Service: Will be held at 3:00pm today, following the service soup and sandwiches will be served.  Please come and join in the fellowship.

The LWML Fall Rally is being held at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Schubert on November 2. Registration is 8:30 A.M. – 9:00, followed by Opening Worship Service, meeting, guest speakers and ending with lunch and Bible Study. Cost of registration and lunch is $4.00.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Child Care Center: will be selling gift cards beginning November 3rd, 2019. Earnings from these gift cards will be used to help pay for everyday costs of running the daycare to enable us to not raise the rate of child care and to start to fund for any emergency costs.  At this time, we will only take paper orders and you will pay by check or cash.  Someone will be available to take your order on Sunday mornings after church in the narthex.  The gift cards will then be available for pickup by the following Sunday.  This is a great way to help the daycare with your normal everyday shopping and gift card giving such birthdays and Christmas!! If you have any questions, please contact Diane Weicken at 573-690-6647.  Thank you for your support.  Order forms are available in the narthex.

Poinsettia Sponsorship: It’s getting to be that time of year we are starting to plan for decorating the sanctuary for Christmas.  Please consider sponsoring a poinsettia, a sign-up sheet and price list is in the narthex.  The deadline is November 10th

March for LifeThe 46th Annual March for Life will be January 22-25, 2020.  If you would like to attend this important event, please fill out the registration forms on the table in the narthex to reserve your spot and send along with it a non- refundable deposit of $50 to Elaine Ott, 7501 Glover Rd. Russellville, MO 65074.  Please make checks payable to Capital Area Lutherans for Life
